*NOTE: I haven’t updated this “About Me” Section since I built the website so clearly some things are a little different.

Well please forgive me because it’s about 4:34am and I’m about to try and tell you about myself with as much clarity as I can gather up at this time of day. :-)

The reason I’m still awake is because I work as an Emergency Room nurse near Minneapolis Minnesota, and I’m down to one patient now so it’s slow enough to have some spare time. I haven’t worked here, or as a nurse for that matter, for very long but so far the hospital I’m at has been more enjoyable than the last two. I work full time nights to provide for my sweet lifestyle at home. I pretty much have it made and here’s why.

My wife and I of 2 years are both 23 years old and still feel like we are living in the honeymoon stage of our marriage. We have so much in common and although they say opposites attract, I feel like Adrienne and I are a lot alike and for that I’m glad, makes for far less arguments about opinions! :-) We have a lot going on in our life right now so I’d better get started.

I have an amazing wife that cancels plans and changes her schedule so we can hang out every hour I’m not at work or sleeping, and while I’m at work she is at home cooking yummy Rachael Ray dinners (she loves that show), cleaning the house, reading books about pregnancy and taking care of our three babies: Grizzly, Timber, and a baby without a name at this point because he’s in her tummy. That’s right I’m having a baby boy soon! Due date is June 19th 2007. So you have any good ideas on names for the baby please be sure and comment with them. Adrienne (my wife) basically was going find out whether it was a boy or girl with or without me so I thought I might as well know too, which is good because I totally thought it was a girl and we had been accumulating girl items which immediately came to a halt. Grizzly and Timber are both Yorkshire terriers weighing in at 5 lbs and 7 lbs. The fat one we just recently put on a diet because he was chunking up a little too much, sleeping his life away, and pretty much just looking far to fat for an all to quickly approaching bikini season. :-)

We just bought our first house in 3-16-2007, (move in 5-1-2007) and we are really excited about it! It’s everything we wanted and so much more! We are extremely blessed and look forward to spending a lot of time there growing a family. It will be fun to have house projects to do with free time rather than just sit and deal with old apartments. Decks to build, basements to finish, fences to put up and so much more.

My hobbies are multiple and thus I am rarely bored. Some say I’m easily entertained but I’ll let you be the judge of that. Most of my time is spent hanging out doing things with Adrienne, but aside from time spend with her I like electronics and have spent multiple hours playing with my Pocket PC, Ipod, GPS, Cell Phone and computer. My little gadgets make boredom away from home rare. I also love media and spend a lot of time playing with and editing photos from my Canon Rebel XTi, editing home videos, making websites, and playing the guitar, piano, banjo and trumpet. I used to play the cello but I’m taking that off my list of musical instruments I play because it’s been about 6 years since I last played. If I’m not doing any of the above activities I’ll be found playing with my dogs, playing video games on my Xbox or computer, or hanging out at Dan and Maggie’s house with their adorable little girl Ruby Ann, (my niece). That about covers indoor activities. Outdoors I love volleyball, played field hockey for the US Men’s National Field Hockey team (never made it to the Olympics but had a few shots at it), love riding bikes, ice skating or even running if I get motivated enough. I love the new neighborhood we are going to live in because it looks very safe and outdoor orientated.

My future goals are to complete a bachelor’s degree, which I’m not starting quite yet because I don’t know what I want a degree in yet. I would also like to eventually work at a Christian camp or retreat center with adults and kids. Adrienne has experience working as a retreat and camp director and I could work as the camp retreat nurse. I’ll keep my eyes open for opportunities. Hopefully God will place something like that in our laps in the future but until then we are content with where He has us for now.

My life verse is Proverbs 30:7-8 which says “Two things I ask of you, O LORD; do not refuse me before I die: Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, ‘Who is the LORD?’ Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.” I like this verse because it reminds me of the promises that God will supply all my needs, which helps me with getting worried and anxious about the future, while at the same time prevents me from getting sucked into an all increasing material world of having it all. Having to much is not always a good thing spiritually, but contentment is.

Well that’s it, if you made it to the bottom of this blog you are one of the few believe me. I thought about putting a counter on my website but decided not to because I can count the number of people who will read this on one hand. :-) But hey it’s fun and I’ve already connected with a few old friends because of it. If you are one of those people shoot me an email. Either way have a great day and God bless you as he has me!

This is where I’m gonna post a list of the top rated music of the week, maybe month. Also I’ll put my review of songs, albums and movies we watch. although the movie category will be short because Adrienne and I watch movies like every three months. Although I would reccomend Hunting Season the pixar movie. always funny. Anyway I’ll fill out the list soon.
