2 Month Doctors Visit…

Noah

Well Noah had his 2 month doctors visit yesterday and heres the verdict:

Weight: 14 lbs 15 oz (97th percentile)
Height: 25 inches (97th percentile)
Head: 16 inches (90th percentile)

We love that he’s eating well and growing so big, although it does come with some downfalls….for one I had to adjust the straps in his car seat today from the smallest size to the next size up, which was heartbreaking cuz it’s like his first step towards college…haha. Also he’s less comfortable now because Adrienne refuses to let him grow out of his cute little 0-3 months clothes that are at this point are WAY to small for him :-) When he wears that size onesie he can’t shrug his shoulders cuz of the tension. Another downfall is that he little guy loves to rest on his back looking towards the right side, which means he developed a flat side on the back of his head. As a result if that spot doesn’t round out in the next 2 months he’ll have to wear a pediatric helmet for a few months to correct it. Sad. :-( Anyway Adrienne and I are trying to keep him off that site of head now to fix it on it’s own but it’s hard cuz he loves that position, if you have any ideas to keep him off that side please post a comment!

Anyway, today the little guy went for his first bike ride in the bike trailer, and don’t worry if you are thinking “he has no neck support yet!”, I took care of that by strapping his car seat into the trailer and yes it was in there tight. Those pictures will be posted later with the next set. Anyway, hope all is well with everyone and pray for little Noah’s head! :-)

Noah and Titus Schmoyer!

Titus

Well it’s been a busy few weeks since I last updated the site, Noah is bigger than ever, Adrienne’s grandparents, aunt and cousins came to visit, and little Titus Schmoyer was born! It was great to have more of Adrienne’s family out to visit, despite the continual rain the entire weekend they were here. We pretty much hung out inside and went to softball games in the rain on Sunday. I was in a tournament the whole weekend which was a first time for me playing softball; Adrienne’s cousin was even able to play with us on the church team which helped a lot. Having Titus born was really exciting, it’s amazing how much bigger Noah looks compared to Titus, although I’m sure they will even out soon enough. Titus (aka “baby ti” as Ruby calls him) was 8lbs 7oz, 20.5 inchs long and born at 6:09pm on 8/20/2007. Noah is excited to have some good competition growing up. :-) I won’t write a lot about little Titus Schmoyer but you can have a look at his pictures and see updates about how he is doing through looking at Dan Schmoyer’s website by CLICKING HERE. I will post the updated pictures from little/not so little Noah and Titus, as well as pictures from Adrienne’s family visit. I haven’t taken any new video but when I do I’ll post it here. Hope all is well with everyone and CLICK HERE FOR NEW PICTURES OF NOAH.

Noah

Well Josh and Sara Davis, Adrienne’s sister and husband are up visiting from Texas and thus far it’s been a blast. Noah is a champ and pretty much lets us do whatever we want without time restraints, he eats and sleeps followed by some fussiness around 8:30pm for about an hour or so. In addition he’s slept through the night the past 3 out of 4 nights, which is nice. The hot wings we had on night 4 might have had something to do with him not sleeping a lot that night, either way we can’t complain. Tomorrow is Zoo day which will be Noah’s first debut to the zoo. Other firsts for him this week included to Best Buy, Cabalas, Dairy Queen, The beach (man made of course), and Wild Wings. I’ve had a few days off with him and it’s so much fun to play with little Noah and hold him, until he cries, then Adrienne gets to work her Mommy magic and get him quiet. The dogs are still adjusting well, and life is still going as usual. I won’t say much more because I’ve had some website construction that’s taken up most of my web time tonight so I’ll keep this update short. I also put some more pictures I took on the Noah tab; Sara Davis said Cathy (grandma) wanted me to update the pictures more :-) Enjoy!

Some More pictures placed on the Noah tab.
